Alisha Gary, LGSW, joined the First Appalachian Craniofacial Deformity Specialists at Charleston Area Medical Center as the social worker for the Cleft Team. She attended West Virginia University where she obtained her Master’s Degree in social work. Alisha is a Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW) in the state of West Virginia since 2006.
Alisha currently works as the care coordinator for five West Virginia counties with the Children with Special Health Care Needs Program (CSHCN) through the Office of Maternal Child and Family Health. She also provides social services at the cystic fibrosis and genetics clinics, which are both held at CAMC Women and Children’s Hospital.
Outside of the hospital, Alisha enjoys spending time with family and friends as well as participating in numerous church activities. Alisha is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
Amy Spadafora MA, RD, CSP, LD, joined the First Appalachian Craniofacial Deformity Specialists at Charleston Area Medical Center as a pediatric dietitian. She attended Marshall University where she obtained both her Bachelor of Science and Master of Arts degrees in dietetics. She also completed internship requirements and is a licensed/registered dietitian. With over 10 years of professional experience, since 2004 she is the only board certified specialist in pediatric nutrition.
Amy has been employed by CAMC Women and Children’s Hospital since 2002. She is responsible for all inpatient nutritional care as well as the Charleston Cystic Fibrosis outpatient clinic. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, cooking, reading, exercising, and spending time with friends and family.
