| The majority of our patients are outpatients; therefore, a thorough assessment including a brief history, vital signs and educational background of the patient is necessary. We instruct our patients on intra- and post- operative procedures prior to each case. During recovery, all patients are monitored and observed for tolerance of the procedure. Discharge instructions are given to all outpatients and their significant other prior to leaving our department. During each procedure, the nursing staff collaborates with the medical staff to provide our patients with competent, complete quality care. |
