Understand the Ways to Give
You can make a bequest to the CAMC Foundation for a percentage of your estate or a specific dollar amount. You can designate your bequest for general use or you can restrict its use. Many of our supporters establish endowments that honor the memory of a family member or loved one.
Specific Bequest: A bequest may be included in a new will or added to an existing will through a simple codicil.
Residuary Bequest: Residuary bequests are a portion of the rest, residue remainder of your estate after payment of expenses and any specific amounts designated to other beneficiaries.
DESIGNATE THE PUPOSE OF YOUR BEQUEST:
What is an unrestricted purpose?
The most useful type of bequest is unrestricted, allowing the funds to be allocated by the CAMC Foundation, Inc. wherever the need is greatest.
What is a restricted purpose?
You may designate your bequest to support a special program or purpose that reflects your personal or professional interest. For example, scholarships, medical research, etc.
