| The gynecology (Gyn) unit is located on the third floor of Women and Children's Hospital and cares for the majority of the post-surgical adult patients in this hospital. Nursing care is provided by an experienced and friendly staff. This is a quiet unit with private and semi-private rooms. Every attempt is made to assure that patients have rooms to themselves. Visiting hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. If the patient is in a private room, one support person who is at least 18 years old may stay in the room, 24 hours a day. If the patient is in a semi-private room, the support person who stays overnight must be the same sex as the patient. |
