Revision Surgery

Joint replacement parts (implants) may separate from the bones. This condition called loosening, which most commonly occurs many years after the surgery. Rarely loosening of the implants may happen within a year or two after surgery due to infection, bone weakness or improper sizing and/or less than ideal aliment of the parts. This condition usually can be treated with a replacement of loose parts with new, secure parts.
