CAMC kicked off Trauma Awareness Month in May with a planned disaster drill simulating a multi-causality explosion at a public event.
CAMC physicians, staff, Charleston Fire Department and the West Virginia Air and Army National Guard came together to test their response plans for a large-scale event with multiple trauma patients. The event was held at the CAMC Center for Learning and Research.
