CAMC’s doctors, nurses and other clinical professionals were stationed along racecourses in Charleston to provide exclusive medical care to riders competing for the chance to advance to the 2024 Olympics in Paris.
The USA Cycling Professional Road National Championships is USA Cycling’s premier annual road event and served as a qualifying event for the U.S. Olympic Team.
CAMC staffed a large medical center in downtown Charleston and several smaller care stations along the race routes. Additionally, CAMC clinicians were part of the caravan following riders during the races to provide necessary emergency care during the week-long event in May.
