CAMC Health System has been recognized for the sixth year in a row by Forbes Magazine as one of America’s Best-In-State Employers.
The announcement follows an independent survey from a vast sample of over 160,000 employees working for companies employing at least 500 people within the U.S. The survey was open to companies from all industry sectors. Around 4.4 million employer evaluations were analyzed.
“Being recognized as one of America’s Best-In-State Employers reinforces our reputation as a health care provider that provides an exceptional workplace environment and employment opportunities,” said Glenn Crotty, Jr., MD, President and CEO of CAMC and Executive Vice President of Vandalia Health. “Delivering excellent care can only be achieved by creating and sustaining an excellent place to work.”
Market research company Statista collected direct recommendations from employees as well as indirect recommendations from workers in each industry. The survey considered every aspect of an employee’s experience such as working conditions, salary, potential for growth and diversity. Of the thousands of companies eligible for this recognition, only a select few are awarded in each state.
