The CAMC Ryan White Program and CAMC Addiction Care Team have organized a series of community wellness events at various Kanawha County locations to reach vulnerable unsheltered residents and their families. On June 28, the teams were in Kanawha City helping people from the Kanawha City, Rand, Marmet and Campbells Creek areas. In July, CAMC and its partners will be in Clendenin and St. Albans, and in August they will offer free services such as basic health checks, primary care referrals, screenings (HIV, Hepatitis C and syphilis), Naloxone, recovery coaches, wound care, vaccines, hot food and personal hygiene.
