Thank you to the departments that have sponsored employees and their families through the Heart of the Holidays program.
The program is set up to match an employee and their family with a sponsoring department or individual. The sponsors help provide gifts, food and clothing to the families during the holidays. In addition, a $250 Kroger gift card is donated by the medical staff, and a canned ham along with a fruit basket is purchased by auxiliary services and donated to the family.
Heart of the Holidays was created to assist employees who are experiencing financial difficulty during the holiday season. Since 2010, the program has benefited 2,754 individuals representing 743 families.
This program is made possible thanks to support from the CAMC Foundation, Auxiliary Services, Medical Staff and Facilities Management Administration.
