Thank you to the departments that sponsored employees and their families through the Heart of the Holidays program. Ninety CAMC families were sponsored this year!
Heart of the Holidays matches an employee and their family with a sponsoring department or individual. The sponsors help provide gifts, food and clothing to the families during the holidays. In addition, a $250 Kroger gift card is donated by the medical staff, and a canned ham, along with a fruit basket, is purchased by auxiliary services and donated to the family.
Heart of the Holidays Heart of the Holidays was created to assist employees who are experiencing financial difficulty during the holiday season. Since 2010, the program has benefited 3,156 individuals representing 833 CAMC families.
This program is made possible thanks to support from the CAMC Foundation, Auxiliary Services, Medical Staff and Facilities Management Administration.
