Shawn Farren manages three departments in the laboratory (histology, cytology and special hematology/immunohistochemistry) and can often be at General, Memorial and Women and Children’s hospitals on any given day.
Farren covers workstations on busy days to allow his staff members to have days off, takes on extra duties when asked, and always completes his assignments in the given time frame.
Farren also is usually one of the last managers to leave every day.
