Steve Ray, physician recruitment and compensation specialist, volunteers after-hours with his certified therapy dogs.
Ray has dedicated vast amounts of personal time training therapy dogs for patient interaction at CAMC and accompanying them to visit patients and staff after work.
His present therapy dog, Cactus, a 190-pound St. Bernard, visits patients, visitors and staff regularly. During this historically stressful time in health care, his visits with Cactus are very uplifting.
