Congratulations to Amanda Statler, medical imaging, for being recognized as the second quarter 2023 Teays Valley Hospital Employee of Excellence.
According to her nomination, “Amanda is always willing to lend a helping hand, and she is an exceptionally good problem solver. She is very patient with coworkers, students and patients. Every year for tech week, she goes above and beyond to make it fun for our department. She spends her own money and her own time to make it special, which includes buying prizes and candy for everyone. She creates games and buys costumes every year. In a stressful profession, she really boosts morale and makes everyone smile and enjoy the week. Her manager says she always rallies around co-workers that have life events (marriage, birth of a baby, graduations, retirement, loss of a loved one or even loss of a pet). She always buys a card for all to sign. She organizes parties, donations and makes sure there are cakes, if appropriate. She is consistent in her compassion for others and sets a great example of authentic kindness.”
