CAMC Health System has been recognized for the fifth year in a row by Forbes Magazine as one of America’s Best-In-State Employers 2023.
This recognition was created through a survey of 70,000 U.S. employees, working for businesses with at least 500 employees, across 25 industry sectors.
“Delivering excellent care can only be achieved by creating an exceptional work environment, which starts with hiring great people who believe in our mission of providing the best health care to every patient, every day, and supporting them with the resources they need to make that happen,” said Glenn Crotty, Jr., MD, president and CEO of CAMC and Executive Vice President of Vandalia Health.
Market research company Statista collected direct recommendations from employees as well as indirect recommendations from workers in each industry. The survey considered every aspect of an employee’s experience such as working conditions, salary, potential for growth and diversity. Of the thousands of companies eligible for this recognition, only a select few are awarded in each state.
