CAMC hospitals were recognized in the Centers for Organ Recovery & Education (CORE) 2024 Donate Life West Virginia Hospital Challenege Awards at Stonewall Resort.
General and Memorial hospitals received platinum awards, Teays Valley and Women and Children's hospitals received gold awards and Plateau Medical Center received a silver award.
The awards highlight hospitals that excel in their commitment to increasing donor registrations, educating the public and supporting donor families.
More than 500 West Virginians are currently awaiting a life-saving transplant.
