A woman had been hospitalized for three weeks due to breast cancer.
When the staff of 5 South found out the patient was going to miss her daughter’s high school graduation, they came together to arrange a ceremony.
The staff invited her daughter’s school principal, counselor, friends and family to this mini-graduation, complete with a cap and gown, diploma and celebration party with food for the family.
The patient and her family were very thankful for the kindness of the 5 South staff.
