Brennan Williams has been with CAMC a little over a year as a technical assistant in medical imaging at Memorial Hospital.
He is also a full-time student at Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College pursuing an associate degree in radiologic technology.
According to the nomination, Williams is very outgoing and friendly with his co-workers and patients. He is a hard worker who is always willing to do anything for anyone. He brings a positive energy to the radiology department and approaches any situation with a “can do” attitude.
A recent example of his patient care happened when an elderly patient came in for X-rays. He noticed that she seemed worried and upset, so he took extra time to talk with her and realized that she was concerned that she didn’t have transportation home.
The process of scheduling transport can be overwhelming for a patient who is distressed, upset and has had a long day getting tests done. Williams contacted a taxi service to make arrangements and even made sure the patient was picked up and taken home.
