Shaney Moore is an environmental services technician.
She was nominated for the compassion she showed a family experiencing the loss of a child.
The patient was in the pediatric ICU. Every day, Moore went to the family room to check on the patient’s mother.
She always asked the mother if she needed anything or would just stop and sit down and listen to her or hold her while she cried.
This mother was extremely grateful for all the care she received while at CAMC, but really appreciated Moore’s compassion.
