Anthony Uy, MD, has served in many roles as CAMC and Vandalia Health — most recently as the Chief Medical Information Officer. In this role, Dr. Uy has been instrumental in assisting with decisions relating to the configuration and use of the Oracle Electronic Health Record to care for our community.
Prior to that, Dr. Uy served as Associate Chief Medical Officer for CAMC Memorial Hospital, Medical Director for the Transfer Center and Hospitalist at CAMC. He has also worked in private practice and for the Veterans Administration.
Born and raised in Charleston, Dr. Uy is a second-generation physician (son of Dr. Isidro P. Uy) serving our region.
Dr. Uy received his medical degree from the West Virginia University School of Medicine. He completed internal medicine residencies at WVU-Morgantown and the University of Kentucky, including serving as a chief resident while at UK. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
