Employees from CAMC Memorial Hospital at United Way Day of Caring

More than 100 members of CAMC’s workforce participated in the United Way Day of Caring on Sept. 18.

Teams of volunteers spread out across the Kanawha Valley to perform a variety of tasks such as cleaning, pressure washing, painting and cleaning outside areas around some facilities.

CAMC teams worked at places such as the Kanawha-Charleston Humane Association, Mountaineer Food Bank, Spring Hill Cemetery, Union Mission Ministries and World Scouting Museum.

In addition to hands-on work, the CAMC Institute for Academic Medicine collected food, towels, cleaning supplies and other necessities for the United Way Day of Caring signature project Paws and Claws Animal Shelter Drive.
