CAMC nurses, doctors and respiratory therapists recently completed certification in Cardiac Surgical Unit-Advanced Life Support (CSU-ALS).
It’s the first course of its kind offered in West Virginia, teaching a multi-disciplinary approach to the management of cardiac arrest for the post cardiac surgery population. The multi-day event included evidence-based medicine and hands-on practical skills for resuscitation in this special population.
