No fooling! On April 1, Plateau Medical Center officially became CAMC’s sixth hospital.
“We want to provide care locally, so patients don’t have to travel to Charleston,” said Dave Ramsey, president and CEO, Vandalia Health.
Some administrators spent that morning handing out gifts to employees and patients.
Thank you to everyone who made this transition happen and continue to integrate the hospital into CAMC. There’s more work to do, including some behind the scenes work and more visible projects, such as changing the signage.
“We’ve already begun the process of assessing the needs of the hospital including the medical staff, employees and equipment,” Ramsey said.
